OpenAI turns ChatGPT ads into conversations with Sponsored Agents
OpenAI launches Sponsored Agents for ChatGPT ads, letting users chat with brand agents after clicking an ad. With Shopify and HubSpot integrations, CPC bidding, and a self-serve Ads Manager, the ad platform now spans creation, delivery, and conversion. Early data shows one third of ChatGPT ads miss the conversation context. The question for builders: is conversational commerce a real channel or a novelty?
